1 front USB 3.0 port does not work on my case

Konn

Recently built a system with the Thermaltake Chaser A31 and the MSI Z87-G45 Gaming Motherboard but one of the front USB connectors of the case is not working properly.

If I were to connect my mouse to it, the mouse lights up but does not work. If I connect it to the second port, the mouse works correctly.

The 2 usb ports are connected into one cable which connects to the motherboard header.

Good Morning...

Check that on the motherboard all the pins are intact and would be making contact.

I believe it could be a problem with the header, but before you return or RMA it, do the above procedure and make sure it makes contact. If it still doesn't work, try to return it to the store, or try can call up MSI to RMA it.
