Don't worry, it's not true. He's just mad that they don't choose to benchmark only GameWorks games. People on both sides like to falsely accuse W1zz (he does the GPU benchmarks for TechPowerUP) of bias everytime a benchmark comes out that they don't like, and he always puts them in their place.

As soon as you demand evidence, the discussion usually stalls. They just go "R9-390" "it has the 8GB's and the freesyncs" a few times and leave with a majority of the votes swinging 390. Without having to prove anything or constructively respond to criticism.

 

I've been asking that same question several times now, and when I press the issue noone responds. But in the next topic they're busy saying "R9 390".

You mean you want us to remove most of this thread and then re-open it, in the hopes that it'll go better? Yeah, I think we'll pass on that one and just call it a lock, sorry folks.

And we're not pinning a "GPU X vs. GPU Y" thread. I mean, I know this argument comes up pretty often (just google "390 970 linustechtips"), but let's be honest, that probably won't stop these topics. Besides, the GPU sections has a pretty high sticky count already.

It's cool that you're all so passionate about this, no issue with that. But there's really no need to throw expressions like "stop shitposting" and similar things at each other. Just take it easy on each other.

But hey, maybe next time things will go well? Now it's me who's being all adorably optimistic.
