I had the Gaming 3 version of that board on my old pc and it was a good board, didn't have any problems with it, you could save a bit of money and get the gaming 3 if you can.

Should be more than good. I'm using an MSI z97 Gaming 3 with an i7 5775c with an overclock, and it handles it fine. Dual R9 380 4GB and 1600 MHz RAM overclocked to 2400 MHz and the Gaming 3 can handle it just fine. If you like the features of the Gaming 5, go for it :)

the gaming 5 is only 3 bucks more than the gaming 3 so i think it is worth it though :) and thank for your opinion ;)
