Making a build for my friend (yes again). He's looking for the 500 area. nothing above around 600 at all. This is what I put. He's gaming.

Yes I know I put a fan on a locked processor. As a person with a locked processor, it felt necessary buying an aftermarket cooler as my temps on my stock were around 95c on load. Yes I know put a z97 board with a locked processor. It's about the same price, even cheaper than most decent h97 boards with a lot more features. I was wondering if this was a good build for what he's doing. gaming. If you guys have any other suggestions or a completely different build list. I would prefer it with an aftermarket fan (it's a must in my opinion), and he would prefer it to be this price or a bit cheaper. Located in US. using US dollars. Using 1 1080p monitor. Just looking for build only

yeah, looks great. Why don't you downgrade that cooler a little bit to a t4?

looks really good! the fan on the 212 is louder than you might think though

anything quieter than the stock fan is good enough for me haha. + good price. i also have the 212 in my build currently.
