Sennheiser Game Zero Amp/ Adapter Problems.. HELP!

So I just bought the Sennheiser Game Zero's and the adapter.. plugged them both in and my computer isn't recognizing the mic or the audio device. I can hear sound through them still but cannot use the mic.. I also bought the Fii0 E10k DAC and AMP.. plugged the adapter into that and the sound was even better and my computer recognized it but still not able to use the microphone.

How come my computer isn't recognizing the headset adapter (even though it still plays sound) for my microphone and is it possible to use the microphone with the amp as well?

PLEASE HELP!

I just ideally want to use the amp, headset and microphone all at once.. if you can help me I'd be forever greatful!

As soon as you plug them in, blow really hard on the mic for about 5 seconds and it should pick up the mic then. Same thing is happening to me and that's the only way i know to fix it ( you have to do it again if you plug it out)
