Corsair CUE Help

So this is probably a dumb question, but why is there separate cue download links for each corsair device? Don't they all run on the same software? If I downloaded it for a mouse, will it work with a keyboard too, or will I have to download the keyboard link?

The Keyboard the mouse will work using the same program.

i would guess, its just in case someone gets the mouse or keyboard without the other and they want to make it easy to tell which is the "correct" DL for their device. When in reality its just like most cases where people are told to just reboot/restart a device when its not functioning properly.
