Screen recorder with sound directly from output?

electrolux

Is there a screen recorder that will record directly from my LG G3's sound output rather than using the microphone?

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it. :P

So you want to capture the sound directly from your phone's video output connector?  What's wrong with connecting an audio recorder like a Zoom H1 via the headphone jack of your phone?

You need a cable with male 3.5mm jacks at both end, plug one end into your phone's earphone/headphone outlet, and the other end into an audio recorder like a Zoom H1 or a cheap dictaphone. Something like this

Use a Slimport-HDMI adapter and a capture device. The sound is included in the HDMI. If it sound only, you're interested in, get your hands on a mic wire with a 4-pole 3,5mm jack at the phone end (Left out, Right out, Microphone and Ground for them all). Edit: Oh yeah, no need for 4-pole if you don't want to return sound to the phone. 3-pole will do for output only.

Sorry I should have been more specific, I need an Android app that will record my phones screen with the audio directly from the output rather than using the phones built in microphone.

Ahh you mean like "ShadowPlay" but for your phone, that will record both video and audio running off your phone's screen + internal sound chip.  In which case you need an app and not a physical hardware.

PS: It's good that you try to provide clear details about what you want to do otherwise in the Photo/Video section as we are used to dealing with field video and audio recorders to use with our cameras, there will be misunderstandings.

Correct.

Ok will I don't know if any is available.  I do know that for iOS devices Apple specifically doesn't allow that due to security concerns, what if someone created a malware app that records passwords and bank info you enter/look-up via on the phone without your knowledge.  But I think Apple allows recordings of the phone via a connected computer.

Perhaps Android may have the same security policy, I don't know.  You really should do a search on Google.

Check this link for example, something here might help.
