Sound System For Commercial Use

Hello,

 

I was wondering can anyone recommend a sound system that could be used in a retail shop.

 

Was wondering if a WiFi Speaker system would be a good idea but we would require about 7 speakers or so for this.

 

If WiFi is not an option and would be too expensive does anyone have a good multi disc changer CD player to recommend that we could hook up to a speaker system?

This is not a home theater question.

That said -- the answer to this entirely depends on what the system would be used for (paging and music, or just music).  If you want "wireless" speakers, but don't want to pay the price that the likes of Sonos commands, you could always order a bunch of the Chromecast Audio dongles, and then litter some active speakers around your shop.

Really, if you went the Chromecast Audio route, any speaker with a built in amplifier would work (including PC speakers).  The amount you spend is directly related how how full a sound they'll have / how loud they'll be able to get.

Since we don't have any idea what kind of space / shelving / etc you'll have to place these speakers, it's really going to be up to you to find something that works for you.
