The short clip showcases the upcoming smartphone and its sliding hardware QWERTY keyboard. The latter is certain to be one of the handset’s defining features.
 
In a separate post in its official blog, BlackBerry also boasts about the bevy of hardware and software privacy and security features that will set the Priv apart from its competitors. The manufacturer points at a recent study, which reveals that roughly 9 out of 10 Android smartphones have a critical security vulnerability.

There you go world, you now have a touch and type Android. 

The BlackBerry Priv is now available for pre-order in the UK and pre-registration [1][ 2] in North America.

I'd only care if Dvorak keyboard layout was an option.

 

I want to care Blackberry.

I run my browser through NSA ports to make their illegal jobs easier. :P

that's just awesome, I want one so bad. It looks great, it has a physical keyboard and blackberry security, I don't think I could ask for a better android device.

Pretty excited for this phone, though I'm thinking price will be a bit of an issue. It's 579 pound, which is the same price (roughly) as an S6 Edge 64GB...which is $939 here.

Ouch.

I suppose I'll wait to see how it does. Perhaps it'll flop and there will be cheap phones for all as they try and clear them out
