I know the feel. At least steam backs up most things. I have gotten to the point to where every time I install a new OS, i just either buy another drive or shrink the existing partition and make another one. This is why I still have my windows 7 OS from years ago and I havent touched it. But as soon as its gone, I will need something from it...

this is why i dont have anything of importance on C:\   all my important documents are on D:\ and all my games and other stuff is all on F:\  if i need to reinstall the most i lose is like, my antivirus and a few other things i can get back with ninite

There are some of those stupid programs where it automatically goes to C: and doesnt give me the "custom" install options so it just goes right to C: :(

those are the types of programs i dont install :)  and if i do, then they're probably important enough for me to need them later, and ill get them then lol
