Help to choose budget gaming laptop

RogMM

Hello, lately my old laptop has began to crumble down so I decided to change it, but I don't really know much about tech stuff and what is better over one another, so I decided to come here for help.

So I'd need some good suggestion for gaming laptop for ~1000 euros.

Now I can't build PC because I need to be mobile, carry my laptop to lectures and so on, so I'm looking for something that can run todays games on high/ultra setting and that it could for at least 2 more years.

I did some googling and mostly suggested laptops are in this chart http://gaminglaptopunder1000.org/gaming-laptops-under-1000/

I don't mind paying up to 100 euros more if it means better overall performance, but I'm not that good with deciding what is best.

I'd appreciate it if anyone could give me some advices before I make my final decision.

Thanks.

I'm living in Lithuania and it is kinda a problem to find someone shopping here and in my country there isn't a lot of choice  <_<

Is this including tax? Or excluding tax? And what's your location?

My location is Europe, Lithuania and including tax. I think about buying from e-bay since it can ship to me so I gotta take shipping price into consideration too.

I don't think you can get a laptop to max AAA titles in 1080p for 1000 euros.. but i got mine from here and was very happy with it and the service, they even paid the import tax from the US (i still had to pay shipping which was not too bad considering the distance!)  :) but it might be easier to look locally, i just thought they offered good prices :)

i'm not really sure what to suggest tho, i think a 970m will be too pricey (unless theyve dropped in price considerably since i got mine 9 months ago) .. maybe an 860 could be good, but they do get a fair bit hotter than the 900 series apparently.. i hear the Lenovo y50 (http://www.hidevolution.com/lenovo-ideapad-y50-59425944-2gb-gtx-860m-15-6.html) are pretty popular! hope this helps! :)

maybe this suits you too? definatley get the IC diamond tho, i got mine with IC diamond and extra copper heatsinks and they make a huuuge difference :)

Yeah, due to your huge taxes you're likely going to have to get it second hand through eBay or something. Europeans pay so much it's a crime T_T

I have finally moved to a desktop. Also my guides are outdated as hell.
