OP said they already built it. No sense in getting them to switch platforms.

There is always a sense. Also, OP you may want to go for an Aio, Get all the heat away from the CX 500

I would go with an aircooler. The BeQuiet ShadowRock TopFlow is pretty nice, because you can use high profile RAM

Ryzen 5 5600, 32GB DDR4, GTX 3070Ti, Acer Predator x34

InWin 901

I plan on in two years or so to upgrade to a $4,000 gaming rig

For a cooler?

If you want an AIO, go with the Corsair H100i.

If you want an air cooler, I recommend either the Noctua NH-U14s or the D15.

Yeah that's why my FX8350 is doing plenty fine, then again its overclocked with my ram, motherboard, and my 970.

Please no, can we stop suggesting H100's when he has budget for a custom loop... A loop he can then fit to a i5 down the line.

It says on the parts list that it'll fit, so I'm assuming there's a mounting point somewhere for it, likely the front, maybe.

You could get a new case if need be - I'd get a new one anyways as I don't  think that's a great case at all. You can grab an NZXT S230/S340 and be fine and they're fairly cheap.

I'm pretty sure if OP knew how to put together custom loops, they wouldn't be asking for cooling recommendations.

No need to act this way.

Gaming and FX DON't go in the same sentence.

That's beyond bullshit. Just cause you can get 5-10 fps more in most games with an Intel CPU doesn't mean that you can't have a quality gaming experience with it

There are several threads on this forum with H100 or some other form of AIO shitting its pump up I really wish we could stop recommending them. I had no experience in watercooling or case modding but I did both with decent results, also act like what?

I do because I see it a lot on this forum, and the corsair cooler is garbage, just like the 500R case I have. It's my opinion based on fact so I'll thank you to respect it as I respect yours.

Let's just sidestep the entire "pro" and "against" AMD discussion since you already pretty much got your answer from @Benji_w which is Noctua D14.

Half of this forum have no idea what they're doing and can't take care of their shit - probably a stretch, maybe, but from what I've seen there's quite a lot of people here who don't know what they're talking about; they'll buy this expensive shit, not know how to install or use it properly and it ends up breaking, then they complain about the product being bad.

I'd post examples but I can't be arsed.
