Made a mistake, now i need help

This is my build right here.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/6cy73C

So far, everything has been running well except for one thing. my graphics cards are over heating, most obvious thing is that my Case the NZXT S340 is just too small to handle Crossfire, especially cards that are notorious for being hot. I need help on seeing how i can lower these temps inside this case OR finding me a budget friendly case that is big enough to hold these to cards and keep them apart a bit easier for airflow.

Define overheating because those cards can handle 95 C before it throttles and have you added any intake fans?

If your GPUs are directly above/below eachother, then move the lower one down a slot or so, that way the top GPU has more breathing room.

Try increasing case fan speeds, and try making sure that you have enough air flow in your case, typically having the front full of intakes, then if there's a side or bottom fan mount then have that be an intake as well, then have the top and rear be exhausts.

Check out the Fractal Design Define R5 and S, and maybe also the Corsair Air 540. (Not exactly budget, but still amazing cases)

Well my main graphics card has enough space and doesn't overheat, that one stays around 77-80C. But my secondary card thats in crossfire is getting the heat from the other one and hovers around 90-94C instantly than throttles making my games chug and un-playable. and those temps are when i'm on full load. and yes, i have 2 intake fans in the front and 2 outake fans in the top

I've never used that case or seen one in real life, but from the pictures it looks terrible regarding getting airflow into the case from the front. If you have exhaust fans at the back and top I'd try flipping them over to be intakes as well and rely on positive pressure to empty the hot air (not ideal but worth testing anyway).

I can't get them further apart as of this moment. If i move the bottom one it will hit the psu shroud then will be just as starved as the top one but the top one will be just fine and i'd be back to square one again. So, its really, what are the best fans for this case and what brand? or what's a nice case that won't break my bank.

Define "break my bank", for different people that means different things. (Like for me right now that means about $2.45 jk lol)

Lol, I wouldn't like to go more than $100 for another case, I just bought this computer a few weeks ago and i downloaded all my games and tested it and have been noticing that my graphics cards are the main reason why my games are chugging even though they're not supposed to cause, dual gpu. I got the NZXT s340 cause it was cheap ($69) and it had a nice design for the color template that i had going. I can buy extra fans if needed i just need a case that can seperate these two behemoths of graphics cards.

I'd definitely recommend the define r4, you could go with the r5 that came out not too long ago, though it costs $110 whereas the r4 only costs $90.

Its an amazing case, very clean look to it, and it's got some noise dampening material so it doesn't let as much noise escape from the case.

Its an all around favorite by many.

Spend the money and get something with great airflow. Air 540 (maybe) or if you want a crap ton of airflow, ThermalTake Core X9.

I'd stay away from the Fractal cases, all the anti noise crap is going to restrict airflow, even if you remove the sound dampening foam, it's not going to have enough airflow. Unless you put some high airflow fans in there.

Not all Fractal cases have stupid vanity front panels and heat trapping foam lined side panels.

The Arc R2 models are very good and I was able to find them here cheaper than a lot of other options - depending on where you live ymmv.

If you can't get enough airflow in one of these you aren't really trying.

I wasn't going for Fractal cases, i was more leaning to the Corsair 540, though i have one question. Can it make more space for my Massive MSI R9 390's? cause i don't want to throw out more money for the same amount of space between cards.

Don't expect to put the HDD's in the HDD carriages below the GPU's and not have heat issues. And unless you buy some adapters for the optical drive bays, that's really the only place to put an HDD.

I vote Core X9. No GPU sag because it's horizontal, has PLENTY of airflow, and plenty of drive space. As well as room for watercooling out the ass. And not much more in price than the air 540.

I'd switch to the X9 if I had the money, and I'm including fans in that statement along with the price of the case.

I like the look of the H440, is that a good case for dual gpus? or no?

No idea. I really prefer the cube case designs because they don't usually put anything in front of the GPU's.
