Samsung SSD won't show in listed drives?

Hello!

So I got a new 250Gb Samsung 850 Evo to switch out my laptop's old hard drive with it. And I also have to clone the old drive to the SSD since it will be my only drive. But I came across a problem. Even though I formatted the drive in Disk Manager(Windows) in NTFS, it's not showing up on the list of connected drives in Windows Explorer or any other program(and by this I mean Samsung's own disk cloning software)

However, I can see the drive in the Disk Management window. Anyone know how to solve this?

Actually hang on the drive still doesn't show up in the cloning software after I assigned a letter to it.

Can someone please help me with that?

Did you restart your PC?

I tried restarting, but the cloning software still does not detect the SSD.
