What radiator size should I get

What liquid cooler should I get, a 240 mm or a 280 mm? Will a radiator that supports LGA 1150 fit in an LGA 1151? and finally, what brand should I get, Corsair, Cooler Master or what other one?

Thanks

PD: I will be running an i5-6600K and I intend to overclock it

280 doesn't fit in every case, while 240 is supported by most. The H100i GTX from Corsair is a great performing 240mm cooler, while the Kraken X61 by NZXT is a good 280mm loop. They should fit 1151, as intel changes pins layout (socket) often, but the dimensions of the package and screw holes are almost always the same.

A 280mm loop uses 140mm fans, which (in theory) have to spin slower (and thus quieter) to move the same amount of air as a 120mm. In the end it doesn't matter much, as both are equally able to be quiet in operation, with similar performance.

Generally speaking the bigger the better. Corsair, Antec, Cooler Master and Thermal Take are all good (in that order imho). Any cooler for consumer grade chips that are LGA1156 or later (1156, 1155, 1150, 1151) will all work with the same mounting hardware.

The H110i GT will be slightly better in performance, and slightly quieter. If it fits your case and price range, I'd say go for it.
