G-Sync Single GPU 980M 8GB vs SLI GPU 980M 8GB

Would anyone know the answer to this? I live in South Africa and to find a laptop with SLI is just damn near impossible. My choices would be a laptop with a single 980M with a G-Sync ready monitor or ordering a laptop from the USA from Digital Storm for SLI. I have seen benchmarks, 980M 8GB in SLI runs REALLY damn well, it can see anywhere from 5fps - 150fps boost in majority of games, and with DirectX 12 here, it could only get better.

 

Would anyone know if it would be better to game off a G-Sync laptop compared to the SLI one, I know for a fact I can get Ultra on almost every game with a stable 70+ fps with the SLI 980M.
