So.. How do i make a window 10 bootable?

i guess many are upgrading from window 7 or 8 to windows 10, however what if  i would want to reformat my PC after getting win10? wouldnt i lose my win 10 copy by reverting back to window 8.1?(i have a window 8.1 original disc.) i did like to make my window 10 a bootable USB copy too, in case i need to reformat in the future.

 

Another question, if i made a bootable win10, when i reinstall win 10 which product key do it use(use back my window 8.1 disc CD key?)
