Upgrade TO INTEL

Hello. I would like to upgrade my CPU to Intel, but I need a new motherboard since I got an AMD CPU (when I ran 3D-Mark got an achievement Brawn "Your GPU is ready to rumble, but your CPU doesn't want to play.") I was think getting an Intel Xeon E3 Gaming Bundle From PcCaseGear. What do you guys recommend?

For $550 its an okay bundle, but I'd look at the price of an i5-4690 / i5-4460 with an H97 Board as well.

NCASE M1 i5-9600k  GTX 1080 FE Z370N-WIFI SF600 NH-U9S LPX 32GB 960EVO

I'm a self-identifying Corsair Nvidia Fanboy; Get over it.

That bundle looks good, although you may be able to get a better deal with a different Mobo, ram and even CPU.

How much are you willing to spend? What are you using the CPU for?! Will you overclock?

I'm going to assume only games, you'll spend up to 540 bucks, and you won't OC from the bundle you thought about.

I'd say an i5-4460 and a H81 board

Total: 236$

Follow the topics you create using the "Follow" button in the top right corner!

One day I will have my GTX 970. One day. PC specs are at my profile.

Not sure how to check what part works with what? Check out my compatibility guide!

Its cheaper if you just add the cpu and motherboard together lol Don't get the bundle. As said you could save money by going i5. But if you have the cash the xeon and the msi board will be good.
