Is it okay to download mobo drivers before doing all of the window updates?

You should have no problems. Kind of hard to download Windows Updates without an Ethernet Driver lol.

I just reinstalled my OS and wondering if it is ok to reinstall the mobo drivers before doing the windows updates

That's what I did, I was wondering how my internet wasn't working and my mobo disc was right in front of me...
