Is the TP-LINK Archer C5 AC1200 good?

Snickerzz

Our current Linksys E2500 crapped out :( Looking for a new router.

The house is some 200 years old so it needs to be able to get through all the walls, both the 2.4ghz band and the 5hgz band.

As I said in the title, is the Archer C5 AC1200 good? It has 3 internal antennas for 2.4ghz and 3 external antennas for 5gh so that sounds pretty good to me but i'm not sure if there's something better. What do you guys think?

What's important:

long range/penetration

want to stay under $100

What doesn't matter:

custom firmware

a billion options in the stock firmware

doesn't need a bunch of Ethernet ports, only one PC will be directly connected

Case: NZXT Phantom PSU: EVGA G2 650w Motherboard: Asus Z97-Pro (Wifi-AC) CPU: 4690K @4.2ghz/1.2V Cooler: Noctua NH-D15 Ram: Kingston HyperX FURY 16GB 1866mhz GPU: Gigabyte G1 GTX970 Storage: (2x) WD Caviar Blue 1TB, Crucial MX100 256GB SSD, Samsung 840 SSD Wifi: TP Link WDN4800
