i can't reserve windows 10?

Go to solution Solved by Leonard,

yes i have my system up to date

This error is new to me. I have reserved 6 systems so far and none have had this error. Only one would freeze when i tried to click on the links in the Win10 app but the reserve went through without a problem and after a few days of shutdowns and restarts from the owner it was resolved. I am sure it will work itself out though give it a few days. The free update will be for one year so you have some time to get this sorted.

hi everybody. my problem is that everytime i try to open that little icon in the bottom of the screen it just crashes... i tried to run 3 different antivirus problems. i uninstalled the update, and reinstalled it but it just keeps doing it.

do any of you have the same problem?

get the reservation from the website.

or get a friend to burn the program to a disk when it comes out july 29th

antivirus and firewalls could be actually causing the issue.

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

Do you have all the system updates for your OS? You need to be running Win7 SP1 /Win8/8.1 for the reserve thing to work. You can still get Win10 if you have not reserverd but only if you device qualifies for the free update or if you were in the beta program.

for me it was fine, but i think you can reserve it from the website

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Do you have the up to date system updates installed. This is one of the things they look for.

What i hope they have planned is for anyone who has taken the free update that they still provide you with a .iso of Win10 in case you need to do a re-install for what ever reason.
