It's the only gaming monitor with g sync that's 4k... if u have the cardS to drive it, it's very impressive

In a nut shell, 4k G sync is the selling point and what makes this monitor stand out in the gaming monitor selection to date. The bad stand Linus talked about on his video review so no new news there. The "terrible view angles"??? why the fuck would you look at this or any monitor from any angle other then in front of you?? Do you stand on the side and look at the mirror while shaving? That makes no sense to me at all. The color thing- many have said this TN panel is not the same one and has come a long way so the colors are really good as per many many reviews. Some mention it looks bad on a black screen but thats all

That Dell does not have that G Sync... paying 200.00 just for that. Everyone says its worth it that owns a g sync monitor. I can understand if you are slightly below you notice it nut how long you gonna be down there? raise it up os stop slouching!!

I wish i had seen this sooner. i submitted a cancellation, lets hope it works! granted i already have X, still save 80 bucks!

EDIT, well I just got the email that said i could not cancel it . Now the hard part is, do I return it and save about 40 bucks depending upon how much it costs to return it? or just live with my mistake and have it "when it gets here"?

 

The real question is, Why are these dropping in price so much!?

the rest is up to you... spend the money to ship it back with a restocking fee most likely or just suck it up and enjoy your new 4K gaming monitor. But you paid 679.00 and the new egg one is 599.00 + 40.00 to return so 639.00... so after 2 weeks of the annoyance of all this you only save 30 bucks and get Evolve and MK X. I'd stick with the one you got and start gaming by Friday night! Unless you can sell the two games for 80.00 but i doubt it.

 

but please let me know how you like your new monitor and what types of games you play on it that are not FPSs. There is a good review on LTT already but I want to hear from more people before I get it or the Acer Predator/ROG Swift

It looks like ill need another titan X to be happy though. i would like to be able to game at 60fps on ultra and run 2 other monitors for other things like movies, web browsing, editing, you name it. so we will see how that turns out. my pockets are cringing right now. I have about 2500 planned in PC upgrades alone by the end of the year and still go back to school.

All right so on its own the Acer XB280HK bprz looks amazing, the only issues i have are the lighting around the bottom and top, it's only noticeable when I'm viewing a movie that does not fill the screen. also another issue I have with it is that the bezel is too glossy, it can reflect stuff from the edge. Ive played GTA V and it's amazing i maxed everything, including MSAA at 8x and i was averaging 59fps.

Thanks for the feed back!! I read a lot about the glossy thing on the bezel.. Playing GTA 5 all maxed with a Titan must be awesome. Do you have Witcher 3?

I do "technically" have Witcher 3, they give it to titan X owners. I have been having issues downloading it and GOG is not being overly helpful with a fix.  I don't really notice it while gaming, I only nitpicked a bit so that i could accurately review it. If it bothers me I have plenty of Gaff tape that i could put around the edge of the bezel yo get rid of the issue.

its a bit of a bulky display but its totally worth it! In terms of a bulky display I guess its what you expect of a new resolution and new technology.

Sorry for the delay, i had a long day at work yesterday. Didn't log in to any forums or even bother adding my ACX 2.0 to my titan x, I got it last night!
