ram channels b85-e

so according to my manual  my ram positioning for  each channel is   a and b witch sets  both rambars of 1 channel right next to eacht other i find that weird bqs they are still different collors  does anyoen know why that is  bqs i dont know what to do the color patron  is still like any other mother board  if someone could confirm that this si normal that would be great

i don`t really understand what you are saying,but if you have 2 sticks of ram and want to use dual channel,place the sticks in the same color. so one in channel A and one in channel B. so thats black with black or gold with gold

yes.thats single channel. for dual channel go A1 with B1 or A2 with B2

so i got  2 ram sticks and i put  them in A1 and B1  or A1 and A2

yes for dual channel you put A1 with B1(black with black) or A2 with B2(gold with gold)

 

A1 and A2 are one channel thats why you want to run dual channel. A1 with B1
