$300 Gaming PC Ideas?

I want to make my own pc build. Like I built PC's upgraded them fixed them and built some, but I want to make my own. Any help me for $300. BTW no Pnetium g3258 because I will be utilizing 4 cores for what I will be doing.

I made one but I think you guys can think of a better one. Just doing some hi-res photo art ans some B4 COD series, tf2, unturned, and some other fps games. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Emanuel_M/saved/N4QNnQ

That RAM is WAY too much (too expensive) for gaming. Also, I would go down slightly on the CPU. With those two, you'll have the rest of your budget to get the only thing that'll matter in a $300 gaming pc.. GPU.

Do this:
Intel G3258 Overclockable CPU... $70. Plenty videos of people playing every game u can think of on it (hold quality settings). You'll be able to get the best GPU u can with the money saved. Again, GPUs' all that matters.
Get RAM that's no more than $45. I don't care what kind; just do it.
My final suggestion is expanding the budget to whatever is needed (less than $40) and get a WD Blue 1TB HDD. Games eat storage.

your missing a lot of parts....like a case for starters (its hiding at the bottom) but still your missing a GPU

yeah a GPU+CPU > APU+shitload of RAM

I would trust a 3 year old second hand HDD over a PSU that came with a case...

That RAM is WAY too much (too expensive) for gaming. Also, I would go down slightly on the Motherboard. With those two, you'll have the rest of your budget to get the only thing that'll matter in a $300 gaming pc.. GPU.

Just thought of something else... Intel G3258 Overclockable CPU... $70... Plenty of videos of people playing every game u can think of on it (hold quality settings). You'll be able to get the best GPU u can with the money saved. And get RAM that's no more than $45, I don't care what kind. GPU all that matters. Rest of ur items are just fine. #Win

Won't APU benefits from fast ram? Just wondering... then again I'm not familiar with APU, I'd rather get i3 + 260x or something.

For $300, I'd recommend checking ebay/craigslist for cheap used parts.

Specs: CPU - Intel i7 8700K @ 5GHz | GPU - Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming | Motherboard - ASUS Strix Z370-G WIFI AC | RAM - XPG Gammix DDR4-3000MHz 32GB (2x16GB) | Main Drive - Samsung 850 Evo 500GB M.2 | Other Drives - 7TB/3 Drives | CPU Cooler - Corsair H100i Pro | Case - Fractal Design Define C Mini TG | Power Supply - EVGA G3 850W

Have you considered doing a scrapyard build? you could get much more performance out of it

Yea thats why i choose 2133mhz because of the APu

Fair enough. Still, not enough information on the PSU is making me nervous.

I kind said im going for a quad core since I will be doing more than one thing at a time.

As more games come out that will not even run on  cores. At least Core i3, or that APU. (With the expensive RAM)

And on games that require a beefy CPU, there will be stuttering all the time. Speed does not matter when you only have 2 cores.

I would suggest saving more money to get a better GPU. Either go with what you have or this. Or wait till $400-$500.

Also OS?

The Pentium will die much more than the i3.

Okay, that's fine. Just get a diff CPU then. I would still apply my other suggestions. Just keep CPU as low as you can.. I guess if you're going stronger CPU/RAM combo go for it, but if pure gaming.. Spending more on GPU would be more beneficial IMO.

Sure, its going to hurt him a hell of alot more then running shadow play though. And when you are dealing with such a limited budget well..id say its his best option.
