Is this legit?

Go to solution Solved by as96,

To be perfectly honest I think that website looks legit so I will probably get it from there.

As long as you bought the key, you can download the iso from anywhere you want, even torrent, since until you activate it with a key is a trial version, so no legal problem with that.

Please may somebody tell me if this copy of windows 7 is legit or not because it seems quite cheap.

Thanks.

It's probably an MSDN key. Not legal, but it'd work just like any other key.

I'd rather buy one from /r/microsoftsoftwareswap since people sell MSDN keys there for even less.

They are not MSDN keys they are COA keys.

Errr.. Not sure, but why not:

1. Go for G2A (I will get hate for that one)

2. use /r/softwareswap

3. download it from Microsoft themself :P

Because as long as the place isn't terrible and sells the key twice, COA keys last forever while MSDN do not.

G2A isn't that just the activation key so wouldn't I need a copy of the disk as well?

Not sure about G2A, but can't recommend it at this point.

So am I the only person who saw

'Taken from a decommissioned machine'?

That's alarming, they claim its not a VLK or MSDN key so if its from a decommissioned machine it must have been activated previously, right?

I used a key taken from a broken laptop on my macbook and it worked.
