Steam noob

ELSknutson

So I just started using steam about 2 months ago to do some bench marking an light light gaming and now I find my self getting back into PC Gaming after a 6 year WOW stint that almost ended my marriage

So now Im finding games that dont require me to get on for large periods of time Like TF and GTAV . But since I'm fairly new to steam I could use a few friends.  to play with form time to time.

I've played both. The big difference is obviously online you can do missions with friends. The Story is obviously just the story. Online it is the same in the sense that you can do activities and all. There is no big difference other than the fact that online is less story like and you can play with other people.

Yeah load times are crazy slow for online. I only ever play online when I wanna do heists or go parachuting. Barely have any friends to do heists so I'm mostly parachuting haha.

I too have been through MMORPG addiction. It was so bad that it very nearly ended me. In any event I stay away from them now for a variety of reasons (I don't have time to digress). I do enjoy casual FPS based games these days. In that capacity I would highly recommend Killing Floor 2. I avidly played Killing Floor prior to it's release and it's always felt to me like it combines all the best bits of the raid experience with none of the drama and heart ache.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place.
