Hi guys can u plz help how do I get the lollipop update on my g2 I live In south Africa and it's not available yet no unofficial roms plz

If it's not officially out for your phone yet, your only option is to use a custom ROM such as Cyanogenmod

If your carrier is not giving you the OTA, then you will have to root and ROM your G2.
