If you don't include doing cine, then I personally think the D7000 is way better, especially if you are going to shoot wildlife and planes

what the fu... the D7000 was the camera I wanted really bad last year, the price on that thing converted to GBP is nearly the same price I paid for my D5100. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU! meh, getting a D750 soon anyway.

OT: I think the D7000 is better here, if you're only gonna do photography then the D7000 is a solid choice.

i heard its a very good camera for its price, I was gonna decide to get the Canon 5D Mark 3 instead, but seeing how old it is, it isn't worth it as a 5D Mark 4 (not 5DS OR 5DSR) might be released soon. Planning on getting a 24mm f1.4g, 50mm 1.4g and a 24-70mm f2.8 with it. Plus, i'm familiar with how Nikon works and all the controls, moving to Canon will mean learning a completely different area.

To be honest I don't see any reason to use Canon FF atm anyways, unless if the 5D mark 4 comes out and they heavily improve, they'll never be able to match the D750.

They aren't making a Mark 4 edition its only a rumour Could always look into the 750D/760D from Canon, Specs are pretty much near par with the 5D Mark iii as is now.

If you were to even change to the Canon I think the camera to go for is always the 7D or 7D mk2.

Really don't wanna get an APS-C, moving to full frame :D could have a APS-C as a secondary though.

this has nothing to do with what he's looking for but, yes the D7000 is now 2 gen old, and the 7d is one gen old, but the d7000 was released September 15, 2010, but the 7d was announced 1 September 2009, so if you just go by generation/age, the 7D is older, but the 7D has its advantage over the D7000, mainly being the FPS and some video capabilities. The T6i first would be more expensive second not even released, third will never beat a 7D or D7000 in sports

Wow Australia gets the shit end of the stick. sigh they are worth like $1,800 AUD 5D Mark iii are about $3,000-$4,000 easy

ya for some stuff Aussies get it hard :\

Also look into things a person called Matt Granger is selling, he's an Aussie youtuber that review cameras, I've noticed his pricing isn't that bad.
