Probably not upgradeable, maybe @D2ultima knows

(Don't let the "i3" desktop equivalent get you down, modern i3's are really good)

RIP in pepperonis m8s

The sockets are not compatible with higher end CPUs. It appears the best CPU for that socket is this http://ark.intel.com/products/84993/Intel-Core-i7-5557U-Processor-4M-Cache-up-to-3_40-GHzbut I don't know if your mobo will supply enough power to it.

Aside from that particular chip, the i7-5600U http://ark.intel.com/products/85215/Intel-Core-i7-5600U-Processor-4M-Cache-up-to-3_20-GHzshould be the best chip that I'm fairly sure will work, unless your BIOS is only set to recognize the i7-5500U.

Up to you if the extra 200 MHz is worth it though.

I have finally moved to a desktop. Also my guides are outdated as hell.

Depends on what you're using it for, but 200MHz on a dual core... I don't think that's worth buying a whole new CPU. I can't even suggest Throttlestop to you to keep that CPU at max turbo because it isn't updated for Broadwell CPUs, and the author is nowhere to be found. I say the best you can do is try using keep min processor performance at 100% in power plan settings while plugged in and keep your current one at max turbo. Hopefully you don't overdraw your TDP and the CPU sits at proper turbo under loads.
