doesn't look like it would work, VRM's/power delivery systems at the rear of the card.

you can check this out though http://www.overclock.net/t/1487012/official-nzxt-kraken-g10-owners-club

it may not work since the G1 gaming backplate will make the mounting pretty tight

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

So, the VRMs are on the opposite side of where they traditionally are.  This is not the end of the world, there are workarounds to this, but you're looking at more money spent.

This is also a card without a mid-plate, so there is no passive VRM/VRAM cooling, not awful, but not ideal considering its a premium card.  I would take a mid-plate over a backplate any time.  Also, the backplate is not an issue, you can mount it easily with a backplate, just need to thin down, remove or flip the foam pad on the G10's back mount.  The biggest issue is getting airflow directly over the VRMs.

There are two products that I very recently just because aware of.  The first one is called the Antec Spot Cool.  Its a small fan that can be mounted directly to your motherboard standoffs, as well as other places if you get creative.  It provides focused airflow to desired hard to reach places, it is perfect for those who are in a situation similar to yours.  The downside is that it has a blue LED, which cannot be turned off, so it might clash with your color scheme, and it will have to be run at full speed at all times, listening to videos, its not too terribly loud, but everyone has a different tolerance.

The second product is one I just found out about today.  Its a Dual Fan Mount PCI Bracket.  It mounts to the PCI slot below your GPU, and allows you to install an 80 or 92mm fan to it.  This is perfect because the included 92mm fan should work with the bracket.

I usually recommend buying tiny aluminum or copper heatsinks as a precaution, especially for cards without a midplate.  This is not necessary, but it is nice for peace of mind.  The only problem I see, is that I'm not sure where you could safely stick these heatsinks.  Maybe someone else can chime in on how to safely adhere some tiny aluminum heatsinks?  For now just go with the fans.  Either the spot cool or the Dual Fan PCI bracket should provide sufficient airflow directly to the VRMs, just make sure the fans are running at full speed, at all times.
