Whole PC water cooling with NZXT

Hi guys I am planning on getting my whole PC watercooled, BUT I dont want to spend my money on a fancy custom loop, because it is simply too expensive (No hate please haha)

My system:

AMD FX 8320 @4.5GHz with Thermalright HR-02 Macho Rev.B

MSI 970A-G43

Palit GeForce GTX 970 Jetstream

2x4GB G.skill Ripjaws

I wanted to buy a Kraken x61 for my CPU and a Kraken G10 + Kraken x41 for my GPU...

Thats a total of 330€

I want to do this to get a higher overclock and because it looks nice when everything is from NZXT in my NZXT H440 haha ...

So my question: is that setup good? any suggestions for making it cheaper/better?

Yeah, that would be it, I apologize for my ad english I'm from Austria haha ... thanks bye !! :)

My Builts:

My Rig:
AMD FX 8320 | MSI 970A-G43 | Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming | TR HR-02 Macho | 2x4GB G.skill RipjawsX | Samsung 840 EVO 256GB | Seagate Barracuda 2TB | CoolerMaster B600 | NZXT H440
Friends Rig:

I don't think the G10+x41 is really worth it, when you have a GPU with an aftermarket cooling solution ...

also your cpu cooler isn't that bad after all.

This would more likely be "wasting" 330€ for minimal performance gains.

but I've seen some tests where the g10 and the x41 get like 30 DEGREES COOLER than the stock cooler of the sapphire r9 290x tri-x

the 290x is a totally different beast compared to a 970.

also that 30C are most likely in comparison to the reference AMD cooler

So if you want to do it for the looks -> go for it

If you want better performance -> spend that money otherwise (e.g. getting a second GTX970 or change your CPU to an Intel i5 or even i7)

Yeah i want to do it for the looks, but the main reason is that I cant afford a fancy custom loop for like 500€...

I still think, that it is a bad idea to put something like the G10 on a 970.

The GTX970 cosnumes already very little power and therefore puts out very little heat, which can easily be handled by a aftermarket cooling solutions.

You most likely will lose you waranty, the cooler won't be much better (if at all) and it most likely is louder as well.

also the X61 is pretty expensive considering the Corsair H110 is pretty much the same for 40€ less.
