why "GAMING" is better on consoles than pc

Its a matter of perspective, everyone has their own which is influenced by a large number of variables, how can you ever be sure if something is better than another when it is always true and false?

Pros:

All equal hardware and no one has a MAJOR advantage

Games WORK instead of errors during installing or games not launching

Games seem to run smoother

Security is safer

 

Cons:

No upgradability

Games will cost more (than PC) in the long term

Most consoles have paid subscriptions to play online

Consoles do split screen on the 1 machine, computers no longer do that without a lot of screwing around or going back in time to the 90s.

One question, the PS3 was claimed to be the best console ever right? it was better and cheaper than a PC at the time it came out, right? Folding@Home was only for the PS3 because it was the only system that could handle that software, right? And the hardware used in the PS3 where from Intel and nVidia, so heres my question WHY did SONY choose to use AMD hardware instead of Intel and nVidia hardware (Please correct me if im wrong )

Yet i prefer my PC for most games.. especially FPS/RTS.

Console Exclusives exist to sell more consoles. 

 

PC "exclusives" like Star Citizen exist because there is no way the consoles could run them...
