i prefer asus support over msi one 

and i personally dont like the new twin frozer V look

Strix has a backplate, MSI looks more pumped up. Both are very silent. Bot have 0 dB fan modes. Both have a ridiculous sagging. Get the cheaper one or the one that looks better. The OC should be vrey similar aswell...

The Strix needs just one 8 Pin.

I found almost no sagging with my MSI 970 Gaming card, and tons of it with the two Asus 970 Strix cards I had. All went back though for various reasons and I'm on to a Gigabyte Gaming one now (though it has minor sag, it looks fine.) I'd like to see the Golden Edition of the MSI with a backplate in person, it looks interesting...
