Average FPS, GTX 980 2-way SLI?

Hi,

 

I recently ordered 2 Galaxy GTX 980's (reference) and im just wondering what the average fps would be. I have not built the computer yet as i am still waiting for some parts to arrive.

My specs:

 

CPU - i7 - 4790k

Mobo - Asus Maximus VII Hero

RAM - Corsair Vengeance Pro 2x8 16gb

GPU - Galaxy GTX 980 (2-way SLI)

 

Full specs on my profile.

 

I will be gaming on 2k resolutions. Some games i will be playing are Far Cry 4, BF4, PayDay 2.... (Settings maxed out)

 

Any help would be great.

Probably enough to run a 144hz monitor.

Payday 2 will easily get 200 fps, bf4 just over 100 and far cry 4 will get about 40-70fps because there still are some frame rate issues.

depends of games and workload. but I can guarenty you can bead my 780's 3000 fps in minecraft

You can assume 60 fps on ultra in all games. (Expect for crappy ports such as Unity or Far Cry 4)

Two 980s only makes sense for 4k or for maintaining 144fps. Getting two for 1440p 60 fps seems a bit ott.

Ooh ok then. You won't even be needing the SLI then, just the two cards.
