Copper/Acrylic Tubing

R_Smith
Go to solution Solved by Leonard,

I'm thinking about cooling my next computer with copper or acrylic tubing and I had several questions:

—How do you bend it?

—How do you cut it?

—How do you install it?

—Can they use the same fittings as normal tubing?

—Can you use compression fitting?

Thanks!!

--- You use a heat gun and a silicon insert and some bending tool, there are many types.

--- With hard/rigid tube cutter and you also need a reemer to get rid of the rough edges so the tube can sit properly on the o-rings what the tools look like and some other tools

---you need rigid compressions which is different than soft tube compressions

---No

---You can only use compressions but ONLY the type for rigid tube.

Monsoon makes rigid tool kit and they have every thing you need and at a reasonable price. SingularityComputers, Ronsanut, are just a couple guys who do this thing and have videos on youtube.
