Sony removes "What's new" shortcut

LarsReviews

FInally it is gone! After many complains from Xperia phone useres, that the "Google Now" bottom swipe gesture Shortcut was moved to the left, to share its place with the "Whats'new" Shortcut, Sony realized it was a dumb idea and removed it. Before the Shortcut had to be removed with commands or superuser rights.

I can't post Pictures for some reason, so here is a video.

Just got this update 20 minutes ago,  I hated that 2nd icon in the swipe menu.

Personally I don't use google now at all I think I've used it maybe 3 times ever between phone and tablet. I have a google search bar on my home screen so why bother with google now.

Does your battery percentage show up? I have to go deep into the scroll down to see my actual percentage.
