G502 or any other mouse?

malicalik13

Hi guys!I am thinking about replacing my G500 which I love with a G502.But last night I just watched some videos about Rog Gladius,Rival and Deathadder and now I'm wondering is it worth the money I'm gonna pay for G502? I mean I really reallly love my G500 and I don't have any issues too but G502 has almost the same ergonomic design and more features. Also a store offers G502 with free G240 mouse pad.So considering other mice are solid options too which one will be the better choice for me?

I was looking at mice in the $60~ range so was looking at stuff like the Zowie EC1, Razer Deathadder, and the like. After trying those and the G502 the extra $20 is definitely worth it.

First post here!  I have a mouse fetish I guess and own a ton of them including the G502.  It is a superb mouse and my new all time favorite replacing my beloved DeathAdder!  I bought one back in July with birthday money thinking it would be another one Id add to my rotation of changing out mice every few weeks but 4 months later I havent used anything but it!  The shape isnt quite as perfect as the DA as its just slightly too thin for me but its still extremely comfortable.  The "sniper" button is awesome and although I thought it was a little gimmicky at first, I use it all the time now.  The Logitech Gaming software has gotten a lot better and finally runs totally transparent on my machine.  The best thing about the 502 is the sensor, its virtually surgical.  Easily the best Ive ever used.  The weight feels good and it has excellent build quality.  Best Buy usually has this one along with some others out on display for you to go feel up.  If you have one close to you you should definitely check it out.

So everyone thinks G502 is worth it. I think I will need to test all of them to be sure. Also can you recommend a mouse pad too? I can't decide between G240,G440,Qck and Qck Mass

If you have the money and want the interchangeable weight system, get the G502. But if you want something a little cheaper but with just as good performance, get the G402. They are both fantastic mice. And Logitech is fabulous.

What do they know of England, who only England know?

I have a G502 and it's really nice. The only minor annoyance is the metal scroll wheel, sometimes my finger will slip on it. Other than that, it's got a great sensor, more buttons than you'll ever know what to do with, and overall good ergonomics/comfort.

G502 gets my vote as well. It's definitely the best mouse I've ever owned (although I don't own any Razer products). They go on sale all the time too. If you get one, just make sure you use a hard surface mouse pad as opposed to cloth. Some people have issues with the feet coming off, but I haven't noticed that. Good luck :D

I've been using QCK's for years, and the G502 tracks perfectly on it.

If you want a small, light mouse, and don't mind a lack of side buttons, Logitech g100s.

if you want an average weight mouse, with 2 side buttons, Zowie FK1

If you want a heavier mouse with many buttons, Logitech g502

It sounds like you're ok with just 2 side buttons because you're thinking about the deathadder and the rog gladius. The Zowie FK1 would be a great choice. The only downsides are that because it doesn't have drivers, it has limited DPI choices, and the lmb and rmb are slightly stiffer then most mice.

The deathadder and gladius have the S3988 sensor, and its notorious for being unresponsive with a lot of smoothing. So i would not recommend them.
