Best AIO watercooler (not too $$) for NZXT H440 / best orientation and fan direction for airflow.

Looking to get a AIO watercooler for my i5-4690k but without going over $130 ish dollars. Looking for best temps and best radiator orientation and best intake/exhaust configuration of other case fans. Also looking for good fans to replace the stock fans on the case. AND looking for a good not too expensive fan hub that will allow me to use ASUS Fan Scaling (think thats close to what its called) basically motherboard controlls speed of fans relative to heat output.

I know i'm asking a lot but I just really want to make sure i'm making the right decision.

NZXT Kraken X61 or Swiftech H220-X would be the "best"

But, the Cooler Master Seidon 240m is VERY good considering its only $60 $75.

I have the 280L from Cool master. and my temps are 50 degrees under load.

What ever one you get, put fans to pull air through the radiator to reduce dust/gunk build up. Push or pull have the same cooling affect.

Also maybe look at the fans you using? my 280 rad fans i replaced with Nf-A14's from Noctua

You can go push pull but first try pull only and see if thats fine.

Case fans, if you have your rad at the top then you will replace your fans at the top, use SP fans as there is lots of resistance there. same if you have a rad at the top, use sp fans at the front then.

Back you can use a AF 140 fan

I'm asking for best airflow which way should I mount the rad in the case, top or front, and then with that should i have it intake or exhaust and what should my other fans do.

As in (put rad on top, have front and rear fans be intake and then the rad fans be exhaust / I reccomend these "brand" fans because of "blanketyblank"

several possibilities on fan config.

i had pretty good luck making all fans intake (had to put filters on the H440 roof fans)

and the rear i/o fans was intake too. it allowed the case to vent naturally which has

no adverse effect on system temperatures at all. dust was not a factor.

front intake, roof exhaust you'll run into a negative pressure issue making dust control

a bit of a nightmare. temperatures were not effected.

I wasn't refferinf to temps, the temps were fine but the cooler it's self was SOOO loud and the pump noise was unbearable.

Also you don't nessesarily have to use SP fans on AIO rads as the fins arnt that dense. It helps but it isn't vital.

Cant hear my pump, most high end AIo wont have noisy pumps.

My radiator is quite dense so sp definitely help, most AIo will come with SP fans, they my not be the best or most quite ones but they will work fine.

I've built 2 H440's, one a personal rig and another to sell. Both have the Corsair H110 mounted to the top of the case as exhaust. My personal rig uses SP140 Red LED fans on the radiator and the most recent build uses Aerocool Dead Silence fans. Both are awesome on temps and noise is extremely low. When Linus tested the H110 he said it was the highest performing CPU cooler they've tested. Checkout the review. My favorite cooler at the moment.
