Graphics card problem please help!

I just bought a new Asus r9 270x gfx card and I plug everything in and it's installed properly I go to boot up my computer and theres no signal toy monitor could it be my mobo? I have a gigabyte f2a55m-hd2 mobo

take it out, put it back in.

 

do the same with ram

Lol its the dvi port as that's the best one that will work with my monitor and its plugged into my new card

1 or 2 memory sticks? if 2, try only 1..and try both of them.

Nothing same thing

Try a different monitor, other thing, A-series or Athlon cpu?  try the motherboard output.

I tried using a HDMI cable to my TV nothing and its an a series a6 6400k but I have an athlon 760k coming that should be here in a couple more days
