Thermaltake psu comparison.

grimmjow660

Are there any Thermaltake PSUs that can compare to really good PSU's?
I hear EVGA G2 series of Power supplys are good, along with Seasonic and Corsair.
But I'd to know if Thermaltake can compare with anything at all, I was considering getting a toughpower grand from them since I like Thermaltake, but can anything compare?

Don't buy a ThermalTake power supply, they're not that good.

Whats so bad about them?

They're unstable, under performing piles.

I always hear bad things about Raidmax, and I have this unit from them and I've never gotten any problems from it and have had for awhile now.

So i was thinking of switching it for a Thermaltake or something.

Do you recommend anything?

Here's my opinion: Radimax is more stable than ThermalTake.

Here is a PSU Review Database

Personally, I would avoid Thermaltake and Raidmax like the plague.

The only PSUs you should ever consider buying are:

Antec, Be Quiet!, Cooler Master, Corsair, Evermax, EVGA, Rosewill, Seasonic, Silverstone, Super Flower, and XFX.  - Just my opinion

Above all else, do your research.  Make sure it comes from a good manufacturer, and has positive reviews from multiple sources.

EVGA G2 is one of the best PSUs you can buy, I own one and I personally love it. 10 year warranty, no-fan spin at <50%, all black cables, 9.9/10 from Johnny Guru.
