Soo.. I've been getting a problem with chrome lately..

exotioner

As the title says, I got a problem lately. Basically I kinda had this before, but then it was easy to remove.
This is how my chrome looks now : http://prntscr.com/4rqa7m
All the links there annoys me.. alot.. even sometimes when I just click enter when I put in some emails or whatever, it opens a random window with some poker site or something. :/
Or even when I click on a youtube video. Any help ? D:
I tried to find it in the Control Panel but I can't seem to find anything. I tried using SpaceSniffer to see if I could find any unusual files too, no luck. Also I tried to re-install chrome, yet to no aveil. :/

There's this other thing too.. When I try to download or remove something, this pops up :

http://prntscr.com/4rq95u

Does anyone know what this is, and should I be worried ..?

Please help guys ;_;

Check your extensions, it could be one of them.

Looks like some adware...

Get something to scan it with...

AdAware maybe? (not sure... Haven't had encounters with adware since '07)

Possibly, but I'm pretty sure viruses don't underline words

Second image could be one though.

It seems like it could though, it's a thing that's floated around before.

It's most likely adware. Google a thing called adwcleaner and run it.

If that doesn't work disable any recently downloaded extensions.

Wow. You sir are everywhere.

Also I have had that before. Check your extensions and disable anything that seems out of the norm. Worked for me.

This happened to me a while ago. Turns out it attached itself onto something that I downloaded from cnet.

It was hiding under some "Weather App" that I never wanted to download in the first place.

Checked, nothing other than CIRC and Adblock on there. Which I've had for like 5months+ by now :l

Any program you recommend ? I've been using Microsoft Essentials (Yes, I know, it sucks.) for years, 2nd time this happens, but first time was easy to remove in the control panel. D:

Try Hitman Pro, AVG

Hitman is paid, but has a 30 day trial. AVG is free.

Best scan your whole system with AVG or Avast (do the boot time scan with this)... Something put that there if you didn't know where it came from...

I've seen an antivirus software hijacking before... It wasn't pretty... The owner of the machine was also really careful with her stuff so there are no immediately suspicious sources for the incident... There are also no documented incidences of it... I reformatted her system and put Linux on dual boot to be safe...
