When did buying Case Fans get expensive...?

Dive5885

So I'm planning on getting a new set of case fans for my case.

But I ran into a problem after seeing the prices...

Which fans would you recommend ?

Any in my cart worth getting ?

I need 4 : 120mm & 2 : 140mm Fans

Let me know!!

Thanks!

Get Rosewill Hyperborea/Akasa Apache's they come in 120/140mm and are cheaper than those fans.

Is there a reason that you're buying them from this website? Other websites will have a way bigger selection of fans to choose from.

Since you started ordering them from the wrong place..

Well ordering else where is about the same if not even more expensive.

Example Is the NZXT Fans are cheaper at Directron than any other store.

Then you're buying the wrong fans. Noctua Industrials are $30 and some of the best out there.

NB BlackSilent Pros. Just ordered another 6 for myself.

Each fan is about $25 I can't honestly spend that much on case fans.

spend that money on a 500gb ssd :D have that many fans is just going to make your pc loud and probably wont help much with getting your temps down

It always depends of what you need from your fan.

Noctua's NF-F12 are amazing for pretty much anything. Even with the U.L.N.A they give great performace at almost no output noise.

I'm currently updating my case and will probably go for a full set of Air penetrators from SilverStone. They are probably the only fan able to beat the NF-F12 regarding performance. But they are not as quiet.

What you have to keep in mind, is that 1 high quality fan(NF-F12 for exemple) can do the same job as 2 or 3 low grade fans.

also, think about the positive pressure. More exaust is likely to bring dust by the small holes in your case. Keep a good balance between intake and exaust for a "dust free" system

When I had the Raven case I loved the Air Penetrators so good but they are loud.

Only thing I'm sorta confused about is how the reference cooler works.

Does it intake air from the case to cool its self down or does it blow hot air out of the card into the case ?
