Only thing missing from the needed ones would be chipset driver. Usually when there isn't drivers for newer systems its because system (OS) would have integrated support for that driver. As in windows update will download them.

So can i install windows 8.1?

Ofc. The missing drivers aren't anything that should affect on running it smoothly. Chipset usually fixes problems with SATA and PCI controllers. But those are also fixed with BIOS updates.

Or Can i run the drivers with compatibility mode set to windows 7 64 bit?

Thats not very good option. You don't run drivers like software. You install them and they work as ruleset on how hardware should work with OS. If there would be any major problem with missing drivers Asus would have fixed it by now.
