The GPU Overclocking Database

Cobalt

Don't currently have screenshots as I'm on my laptop and went out of town for the weekend just hours after receiving my Titan X. :( Therefore, I haven't had much time to play with overclocking but as of right now my results are as follows:

Voltage: +0mV

Power Limit: 110%

Core Clock: +210MHz (boosts 1437~1450)

Memory clock: +0MHz (haven't had time to mess with this yet

Card is completely stable so far using Valley as a stress test. Also using the stock cooler with a more aggressive fan profile.

CPU i5 4670k @ 4.2 Ghz; GPU: Nvidia GTX Titan X; MB: MSI Z-87-G45; RAM: 16 GB Corsair Vengeance;  Storage: Seagate Barracude 1TB, Samsung 840 Evo 250 GB; Keyboard: Razer Black Widow Tournament Edition; Mouse: Razer Death Adder 2013

Any one pushing the titanX at 200mhz on the clock and 500 on the memory? Safe? I tried it ran fine, temps didn't go up, but the benchmarks are barely changed with the memory Oc.

I have two Titan X's and a gpu clocked at 1400mhz on boost, and memory is at 6% overclock but dont remember the mhz, am on my phone atm.

Have you flashed the custom bios that unlocks higher voltage and power limits?

Mine run stable at 1400mhz 120% power limit but hit thermal throttling now. I have aggressive fan profile and 100% fan speed at 70 degrees and they still thermal throttle down to 1000mhz :-(

And no.matter what I.do they wont go past 1400mhz :'(

Where do I get the bios from?

I pushed the voltage last night by 14/18/24, it started to smell like warm plastic and the GPU hit 85* that's way to much for it.

When I run valley it shows me at 1639 on the clock, but EVGA at 1449. But I lowered it since it doesn't actually give me any gain.

I am trying to find the EVGA AIO, if you know where I can buy it please let me know.

Any one hit 18000 on firestrike wih a single GPU?

The max i got was 1750.

Ps: I dont understand how the power limit works? I see no improvement with it at 100% or 110%

Core: 1120MHz

Mem: 1450MHz

Core voltage:  Stock

Power limit: +50%

Overclocking program:  CCC (Afterburner makes my system very unstable for some reason, sucks cause this card definitely has a lot more to give it just need more voltage. And TriXX is just a terrible program that doesn't have the features of the newer cards and doesn't even work have the time....)

could some1 tell my the best way to re-paste my 290x I have never done a GPU before but I want to apply some IC Diamond to see if I can get these temps down currently hitting 85c when playing Battlefield 4 so I have been using MSI afterburner but the fan sounds louder than my hover :/

I don't know about the 290x, but the method that's worked best for my gtx780 is the spread method. Especially using thicker pastes.  With thicker pastes I've found that the dot method doesn't spread well with the low mounting pressure GPU coolers generally have.

But, test both methods to see what works best. Make sure to clean the mounting surfaces thoroughly with (preferably) 90% or better isopropyl alcohol before applying paste.

I used the pea method for putting the water block on my 290x but just FYI the 290x should have no issues up to 95C.

Thanks for the advice I have ICD which is a thick paste but I am going to buy some paste cleaner/ alcohol

I was worried that its hitting 90c its hot as hell in my room since getting this GPU lol I will be water cooling it once I can buy the block and backplate

I'm not really sure what has happened to the database but the more up to date sheet is the second one not the first, at the bottom left.  It has a bunch of 970's and couple 960's

Okay guys! Just uploaded my first completely stable OC of my Gigabyte GTX 980 4GB G1 Gaming (Watercooled)

Just gonna give you some random info:

Water cooling was installed a few days ago, hasn't been tweaking it to much but started yesterday, was able to get some insane Core and Memory clocks, was surprised it was so stable but when I restarted my computer and ran the same clocks again it crashed several times, these are the highest stable clocks I've been able to reach so far!

I'm using Evga Precision to OC the card and the current stable clocks are:

GPU Clock Offset: +190 MHz
Mem Clock Offset: +300 Mhz

This is in total 1569 in GPU clock, and 1903 in Memory clock!

For some reason it only shows 1519Mhz in GPUz Boost clock, no idea why but you can clearly see in Evga that it's running at 1569Mhz and if I click "Sensors" in GPU-Z and see what the highest GPU clock was it's 1569Mhz.

I'll upload some images so that you can see! :) Also I'll link this to the form if I can, didn't really understand how I could do that ..

Will edit this post if I have some more info for you guys! :)

Benchmarking was done in FireStrike Extreme!

What's even the point in overclocking my Msi 980Ti.

When I go over 1450 I begin to see artifacts in the sky of Witcher 3. I can get it to 1490-1510 without crashing. Memory clock begins to artifact at about +400 but I can get it to 500 without crashing the game.

The result of all this trouble? 4 or 5 extra FPS  *facepalm*

Open your eyes and break your chains. Console peasantry is just a state of mind.
