Opinions on the 295 cooler

I was just wandering what people thought about the appearance of the cards cooler, not including the rad, just the casing around the pcb.

But for the cooler, looks impressive, and does the job, which is nice too see, still prefer the 7990 though

I like the look of it a lot, like the other r series cards look like garbage but the 295x2 = *drool*.

 

The card just looks like what a graphics card should look like in my opinion, no over hanging cooler because the cooler is longer than the card. No taccy looking parts despite the huge price tag. A good colour scheme.

I don't like the look of it either, this applies to pretty much all AMD reference designs, it looks too flashy and mainstream like an average gaming marketed product and that doesn't tickle my fancy, I'm for the classy look of NVIDIA reference design and EVGA ACX.

I don't like it. It looks like they suddenly realised that it ran far too hot so they just jammed a closed loop in there. Although this is most likely not what happened, I think they could have made it look much nicer. 

 

Nvidia reference cards look much nicer in my opinion, although I would always go for a non reference card unless I watercooled.

Not really my cup of tea. I on the other hand am waiting for the ASUS ARES variant. Hope they take some of the 780ti / R9-290X matrix platinum styling into consideration.

It's not that bad, I prefer it a lot more than their last reference cards thou.
