H100i LED Resetting

a7xstevo

Hey I built my computer not to long ago and it's been really awesome, not really many problems. I have an H100i and, it's working pretty good, way better than stock. I set up the LEDs to work on a cycle mode, and it works just fine until I either close out of Corsair Link or restart my computer and then the first color always resets back to black. I've been trying to get it to work but it just isn't staying, and saving isn't working. Is there anything else I could try to get the first color working? I have used the 1.0.5 and 1.0.7 firmware, and my software version is 2.4.5110.

Thanks for any help!

My specs

GPU - EVGA GTX 780 SC w/ACX

CPU - i7 4770k

PSU - Corsair AXi 760

RAM - Dominator Platinum 16GB 2133 MHz

HDD - 2Tb WD Caviar Black

Mobo - Asus Maximus VI Hero Z87

Cooler - H100i

Sound - Sound Blaster Z

The software is in beta. Or at least the latest version is.So problems you are having will be a thing that will happen. It is annoying but i'm managing to live with it.

Holy crap.. That is literally almost EXACTLY my build..

Same exact GPU, CPU, HDD, MoBo, and H100i...

Only thing different is I have an AX860, and G.Skill RAM. Screw the Sound Card.

Anyways, I had this problem when I first built this PC... Every time I exited Corsair Link, it would just reset. For me it just went to White. I also had other problems.. Such as the H100i not showing up at all!

The only thing I did was re-install the program..

But as DildorTheDecent mentioned, Corsair Link is still in baby stages.. But I'm sure you could get it to work.. I have faith!

  • 2 weeks later...

This happened to me too!!! I finally got it to stop doing that (one pulsing color is kinda boring) by uninstalling Corsair Link entirely, then going to the manufacturer's website and downloading the newest build of the software(v2.6.5214 as of this posting). Now the colors I set it to (yellow and blue) keep pulsing like they were meant to.

Hope this helps!
