Updating from a GTX 960 MSI 4G

Trispace

I was thinking going to a RX570 8g form a MSI GTX 960 4g.

The main games I play right now is Monster Hunter World, and Shadow of War are the only games

I play that really has a need for a Great Video card.

O, and the rest of my spec.

AMD FX-6300 OC 4.10 X 6 cores

Motherboard: MSI 970

Cheap 750 power supply.

Well, you only really need to upgrade if there's something that's not satisfying your needs.

You could also consider upgrading your cpu as it's not the best (the gtx 960 is still a really good gpu).

It's not a huge upgrade, I think the 570 is performing a bit like a 970,

But think about your CPU, it might hold back that card a bit I'm not sure but in the end you will notice the gain, just not, super amazing tho

Would recommand to hold on your system until you have money to upgrade everything at once

CPU: Intel i7 6700K 4.5 ghz / CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i V2 / Board: Asus Z170-A / GPU: Asus Rog Strix GTX 1070 8GB / RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4 3000 mhz / SSD: Samsung 850 Evo 500 GB / PSU: Corsair RMx 850w / Case: Fractal Design Define S / Keyboard: Corsair MX Silent / Mouse: Logitech G403 / Monitor: Dell 27" TN 1ms 1440p/144hz Gsync

Really should upgrade the CPU and PSU before the GPU.

960 can still hold it's own in 1080p gaming.

Ryzen 5 1600 @ 3.9 Ghz  | Gigabyte AB350M Gaming 3 |  PaliT GTX 1050Ti  |  8gb Kingston HyperX Fury @ 2933 Mhz  |  Corsair CX550m  |  1 TB WD Blue HDD

Inside some old case I found lying around.

I was thinking my FX cpu was going to hold me back, from the upgrade of the gpu.

I'll wait to upgrade everything at once, and one other question.

Is SLI/Crossfire worth the money?

I would like to game on my Steam link to my 4K tv.
