Need help with upgrading build

Just get a decent second hand Z97 with some warranty on it.  You won't get a 'new' one unless you buy an unbranded one from china and those, for a novice, are poo.  The only thing that's "screwed" you is the combination of inexperience and intel's lust for squeezing every last coin from it's followers

 With all the Trolls, Try Hards, Noobs and Weirdos around here you'd think i'd find SOMEWHERE to fit in!

Oh yea I forgot they don't sell them anymore in stores, do you think that they are still repairable tho? If not, I might have to look around if someone local is selling one.
