So, What is the different between those : NVME PCIE M.2 / Sata III / M.2 Sata. I'm  a bit confused :(

SATA and NVME are interfaces. 2.5" and M.2 are form factors. SATA SSDs are the slowest, and PCIe NVME SSDs are the fastest.

An M.2 SATA SSD is just a SATA SSD in the M.2 form factor.

Any one know which SSD will be suitable for Lenovo Y530 or Dell 7577 / G5?

Is the M.2 slot empty?

You can only install NVMe drive in Y530, SATA won't work. G5 supports both SATA and NVMe. May I know where are you from and what's your budget for the SSD?

Also, have you decide which model to get? Both have their own pros and cons, if you need further explaination just hit me up

Desktop specs:

Thanks for your Support :)

I'm going to get a laptop with 1TB HDD + 128gb SSD then I will remove the 128gb (will make it as external hard disk) and add 500gb instead.

I'm still don't know which one to get from the 3 laptops. I'm from Egypt but I'm going to get the SSD from Amazon UK. Ofc if you can recommend something else will be great.

I will buy from the below websites:

https://2b.com.eg/en/computers/laptops.html

https://www.computershopegypt.com/en/Computers/laptops-notebooks

Budget 25,000 L.E  = 1300$. That's my MAX.

For the SSD; my max will be 85 Pound. I don't care a lot about the brand but I heard that samsung is the best for an SSD.

Forgot to mention that the main reason for the laptop is 2D Graphic and Website Designs. I will play games for sure but that's not my main focus.

2D & website designs on photoshop + illustrator mainly. I have made my search about the sRGB and most gaming laptop suck in it.

Laptop will be always plugged in; no problem with that and weight is not a big deal.

A bit SRGB and brightness will be better for sure :) Don't care much about (hz) as gaming is not my main.

Thanks a lot! :) Do you think Y530 is the best choice even if it's just 250 nits? better than Y520 / G5 / 7577? with same specs?

Side to side comparison with G5:

Y530 - more portable+modern design (eg thin bezel), better keyboard, less flashy

G5 - sturdier keyboard deck, optional TB3

7577 - basically the same with G5 but with weaker CPU (i7-7700HQ max)

Both have similar display quality if Y530 is equipped with 250 nits 45% NTSC IPS

According to your recommendation; I have bought Y530 (i7/16GB ram/2tb+256ssd):) everything is working perfect and the brightness closed to 300nits as the papers shown but I can't make sure from that (I'm satisfied with it anyway).

I'm just worried about the heat problem and fans. Yesterday the fans get load with normal tasks like installing an app or opening an app like Intel XTU or  Lenovo Diagnostics and I got blue screen while testing the GTX 1 time yesterday. Today I made the test again and didn't get the blue screen but thermal throttling in Intel XTU always (YES) until the testing finished.

Today the fans are ok... But for the heating agv. (45~75) while installing apps. Is that normal?

Also, in the BIOS - System show that the 2 hard drive HDD without any SSD label. In disk defragment the label changed to SSD. Is that normal too?

CFL-H runs hot, especially 8750H. Refer to my review for more tuning tips. Guides for undervolting are in my sig below

If you're using around 20% brightness in indoors, you got the 300 nits panel. If 40-50%, 250 nits

Should be fine. BTW, you got the PM981 which runs very hot. Just take a note on it

Can you check the display ID? Go to Device Manager > monitors > double click 'Generic PnP monitor' > go to 'details' > open 'property' and select 'hardware IDs'. Take a screenshot
