Posted November 22, 2018 Hi, I'm thinking of buying a new monitor during Black Friday and I've found a monitor I like on amazon.co.uk It's the BenQ PD2700Q and it's £289.99 https://www.amazon.co.uk/BenQ-Animation-Anti-Glare-Flicker-free-Adjustable/dp/B01K2210GS How good is it and is it a good deal? If not, what monitor would you suggest? (My budget is £300)
Posted November 22, 2018 If you are gaming, invest in a high frequency 1080p monitor with a response time under 4ms, such as the BenQ XL2411P/Z. If you are using the monitor for productivity, invest in a 32 inch IPS panel, such as the Dell D3218HN. TL;DR - Gaming - 1080p, 144Hz (More is a gimmick and less is not adequate for smoothness), <4ms response time. Productivity - 1440p / 4K, IPS, <10ms response time. i7-7700k | GTX 1080 Ti | 32GB 3100MHz | Prime Z270-AR
 My ideal monitor would be something that I could use for gaming and productivity, most likely 1440p/2K and 27 inches. It's a tight squeeze for my budget but I'm willing to increase i by about £20-50 if needed..
 Posted November 22, 2018 https://www.amazon.com/Dell-Monitor-S2417DG-24-Inch-Response/dp/B01IOO4SGK/ref=sr_1_3?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1542883111&sr=1-3&keywords=1440p+144hz From a reputable company, has a high refresh rate, low response time and the resolution you want. It's a TN panel, however if viewing angles aren't a concern, you will be fine with it. This is also under your budget I believe, coming in at £294. Dell has impeccable build quality, especially on products such as Laptops and Monitors (in my experience and testing anyhow.) And offer quite good customer support relevant to how large the business is. i7-7700k | GTX 1080 Ti | 32GB 3100MHz | Prime Z270-AR
 Thanks Edit: It's pretty expensive to import it into the UK ($161/£124) and it's about £400 in the UK which sucks as I really do like that monitor.
